Draper-Aladdin Gives Startups The Chance To Win Half A Million Dollars At Dubai Active
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 12 August 2021: The Middle East’s biggest fitness event is back, bringing together 30,000 visitors in the spirit of health and wellness. Dubai Active Industry, which will be held between the 28th to 30th of October at the Dubai World Trade Center, will see game-changing startups from around the world competing to receive investment and global recognition. The finalists of the event will receive the privilege of pitching their businesses during the Draper-Aladdin Startup Challenge (DASC).
With the winning prize of an investment reaching $500,000, DASC aims to ensure that appropriate marketing exposure and monetary funds are delivered to the most promising startup.
Being a joint collaboration between Venture Capitalist Tim Draper and Founder of AladdinB2B Alaa Ismail, the Draper-Aladdin Startup Challenge is an initiative that was launched to grant innovative startups the opportunity of a lifetime. Alongside the prize money, the winner gets the chance to appear on the TV show, Meet the Drapers, to pitch their business idea to the Silicon Valley family and get a chance at exposure and crowdfunding in front of millions of viewers.
This is an opportunity for young companies who are eager to get an edge in the competitive business world. With 100 startups showcasing their initiatives and products at the event, the top ten will be decided by the investors/judges, who will then make it to the final part of the competition.
PalletPal and SolidBlock being the very first and second place winners of the previous Draper-Aladdin Competition have left the spotlight and the stage is all set for the next entry to defy all expectations and seize the top position.
