Africa Food Manufacturing celebrated its 10 Edition in Egypt with AladdinB2B on board

AladdinB2B recently had the opportunity to expand its clientele through the new partnership with Informa’s Egypt branch, through its Africa Food Manufacturing (AFM) exhibition, the region’s trade HUB for leading entities in the food value chain.

The AFM event was held in Egypt and was celebrating its 10th anniversary bringing together two different events: Food Ingredients Africa and Propak MENA, two of the leading brands in food ingredients, packaging and processing.

This year’s highlight was introducing a high-level hosted buyers and B2B matchmaking & meeting program organized by the AladdinB2B team. This initiative aimed to attract key buyers from Africa to Egypt, seeking to meet with exhibitors on the show oor at AFM to enable new business relationships leading to enhanced sales and new partnerships.

Furthermore, to supervise that on-site operation was taking place smoothly, and to guarantee the highest results in meetings, our Aladdin Dubai-based team ew to Egypt to bring their matchmaking expertise.

With decision-makers coming from ve different regions namely Jordan, Kenya, Uganda, Saudi Arabia, and Sudan, the team had to up their efforts to meet the high criteria and expectations of those buyers traveling to Egypt. Accordingly, hosted buyers received the ultimate VIP treatment, involving dedicated agents to guide them through the business matchmaking journey, personalized match lists for qualied and pre-targeted networking, and highly qualied meetings to meet their unique requirements. Having both parties, the hosted buyers as well as the exhibitors, shortlist and select their meeting counterparts and identify potential business through the alignment of objectives enabled Aladdin to create qualied meetings that were highly targeted and mutually approved.

Furthermore, the majority of the event attendees were Arabic speakers. This was not an issue for the AladdinB2B team as our representatives are uent in multiple languages including but not limited to Arabic, English, Spanish and Urdu. Translators were readily available on-site if needed during the meetings.

The hosted buyers programs saw a variety of individuals with senior qualifications such as General Managers, Heads of Innovation and Quality, as well as CEOs and Managing Directors.
